Description:
Most of the boats that landed halibut in Ketchikan came north each year from Seattle and other Washington and Oregon ports. They delivered their catch to New England Fish Company or Ketchikan Cold Storage, where the halibut was frozen prior to shipment by sea to Lower 48 markets.
