"Swim Class Opens Monday
Red Cross swimming classes which were postponed will begin Monday at Rotary beach. For those who don't have transportation, buses will leave from the Peter Pan at 1 p.m. Fares will be 30 cents round-rip for children and 50 cents round-trip for adults. The buses will return to town and unload at the Peter Pan between 4 and 5 p.m. The swimming courses are free to the public and will include classes for children from six years old and up. If there are enough interested adults, there will also be an adult swimming class arranged. Everyone is required to have with him the registration permit. Forms may be secured at the Red Cross hut. Classes will be held on days that are overcast as well as on warm days. On days that it is stormy or to cold, announcements will be made over the radio stations during the noon hour if there will be no swimming classes that day. Gene Force will he the instructor with Sharon Traylor assisting."
