The Wingren Court apartment building is under construction at center. Carlanna is still a dream. The large white building to the left, over the water, housed the marine ways of Northern Machine Works. Much of the shallow (lighter) area of the Narrows would later be filled in, providing building sites for the Plaza Mall, Sea Level Condominiums, Super 8 Motel, etc.
