Description:
The old Civic Center was home to roller skating, basketball, archery, etc., as well as dances and other community events, between 1947 and 1977. Located on Water Street, where Harbor View Park is today, the building was originally a City warehouse. During World War II it served as a USO. It was demolished in 1980.
