"A Modernized Piggy Wiggly store, which Manager John Mancell calls 'the most modern in Alaska,' was opened this morning following a one-week closure for renovations. The streamlined store boasts of an automatic checking stand, operated on an electric-eye principle, which Mancell says is the first in Alaska and one of the few on the Pacific coast."
