This photo was taken from the roof of the newly-completed Ferris Court Apartments (now the Mary Frances.) The vacant lot in the foreground is the site of the building in which you are now standing. Creek Street, at left, and the Barney Way neighborhood, right center, would remain largely unchanged until the 1960s.
