Home Insulation Service Underway, 1953

The Ketchikan Daily News reported that "with the recent arrival of Northwest Home Service company personnel and equipment, insulation of home and other building in Ketchikan is underway. The experienced crew of three with equipment and supplies arrived from Juneau by a chartered Alaska Coastal Airways PBY plane. This is the first time that crews and equipment have been flown from city to city in Alaska for this type of work."
