Vern Gorst sits on his self-described Boeing "Bathtub" with a Pratt & Whitney engine. Pilot Frank Knight stands in the cockpit while Eric Chute sits on windshield. Pieces of a Gibson "Prospectors Friend" gold mill sits on dock waiting to go to the Big Hurrah Mining, Milling & Amusement Company mine near Juneau. This is believed to be the first known flight to deliver mining equipment in Alaska.
