Inside Passages, 1996
Ketchikan Writers' Guild
Rainy days are perfect for writers and Ketchikan is home to many. Inside Passages, an annual literary publication, features local and regional authors. Randi Sulkin's submission, "The Things that Start to Seem 'Normal' When You've Lived Here Long Enough" lists what we all share in common living on a remote island in the middle of the world's largest temperate rainforest. After living here long enough what would be extreme in other places becomes common.
