The Seasonal is a free magazine created by seasonal workers for seasonal workers and features articles about travel, places around Ketchikan, recipes and interviews. Working in Ketchikan for only the summer is intense with long hours. Free time can be just as intense, with many new friends and new adventures in a place that is unlike many have experienced. This publication showcases the human tendency to search for a sense of belonging even in a "home away from home".

The magazine was created by Joey Rovinsky, Ryan Deininger, and Jason Baldwin during the summer of 2014. As of 2018, its owners were Rovinsky, Deininger, and Kellie Mogg. Around 2018, The Seasonals became a professional quarterly publication.
