This beaded flower appliqué was created during the Beaded Appliqué Workshop taught by Aanchgwanutk, Janice L. Jackson, in 2023. The two day workshop was an opportunity for students new to beading to learn how to plan and begin an appliqued design.
"This is my first beaded appliqué piece. Janice Jackson provided the design and I did what I could to personalize it. Beaded appliqué is completely different from my other artwork. I plan to incorporate the technique into my other artwork by perhaps adding beaded appliqué to canvas printed photos to add dimension."- M.J. Cadle
