Title:
The Dickinson Building, June 1953
Photographer:
Paulu T. Saari
Description:
This building, 223 Grant Street, stood exactly where the south face of the tunnel is now. For many years, it housed the office of Drs. George and Beatrice Dickinson, a husband-and-wife medical team. The building to the right, 301 Grant Street, housed the Abercrombie Shop in the 1950s. Though both buildings are gone, the Front Street stairway between the buildings remains in the same location, with a few modifications.
