None of the buildings visible in this photo, which was taken from the Federal Building, exist today. The "tail" of Whale Park, the Mission Street/Dock Street loop, and the Stedman Street extension have taken their place. The Idle Hour Cigar Store, top left, became Tom Sawyer's flower shop in 1954.
