Tracy regularly hauled freight and passengers to remote communities in Southeast Alaska or taking visitors to the Misty Fjords National Monument. After flying float planes in Ketchikan, Tracy and her husband Luke Hamer, also a pilot, moved to Papua New Guinea to pilot missionary flights.
