ANB and ANS formed at a time when Alaska Natives did not have rights as citizens of the United States. For ANB, Willis Hamilton was installed as Vice-President; Wilber Ridley, Secretary; Drency Dudley, Treasurer; Lewis Allen and George Lewis, Sergeant of Arms. For ANS, Phyllis Gunyah took over as President and Violet Hamilton, Vice-President. Joe Williams (center), Grand President, was the installing officer.
