High-Top Moccasins, 2023

These moccasins are made of moose hide and trimmed with gray fox fur. The black felt uppers are lined with beadwork and abalone buttons. They were created during the Mixed Level Regalia - High-Top Moccasins class taught by Jelth K'aan, Debbie McLavey, in 2023.
"I have always wanted to make high-top moccasins and this class was my chance to learn and make a pair for myself. I left the leather on the high top bare because I would love to finish them with Ravenstail leggings, which will be my next project."
