Then & Now : A community photography exhibit connecting Ketchikan's past to the present through the recreation of historic photos
Title:
High School Mechanics
Description:
Working on cars is working on cars. It doesn't really matter the decade, working on cars has the same fascination now as it did back then. Speed, design, performance — cars have always been on the leading edge of current technology. Kayhi auto students are pictured here with their teacher, Mr. Shelton, as they check out a 2009 Dodge Charger. This modern shop is missing a few of the unique tools of the trade more common to garages of yesteryear. Also note that Mr. Shelton no longer carries an old school clipboard.
