Then & Now : A community photography exhibit connecting Ketchikan's past to the present through the recreation of historic photos
Title:
Watermelon Eaters
Description:
"I call this piece 'Papa Murphy and the Watermelon Eaters.' I chose this picture one day and the next day my friend Lauron sent me pictures of her children and they were eating watermelon and I saw the connection. The Murphy's are a very special family that left a very positive footprint during their time in Ketchikan." — Cheri Pyles
